Klaus Hoffmann studied art at the Wiesbaden Freie Kunstschule and at the Freie Kunstakademie Frankfurt, focusing on composition and color theory.
In his works, he explores the interaction of colors and the particular color contrasts.
He works with pure, high-quality pigments, which he processes in various dispersions adapted to the purpose and paints on natural Belgian linen, whose somewhat irregular structure remains recognizable.
